The story of creating Holy Pepperoni is its own kind of fairytale. In this story, rather than finding true love at the end, that’s how it begins! 

In 2020, Anj and Hannah Rose met and fell in love. Their first conversation was about crying during the Mr. Roger’s documentary. Their first date involves matching poems, four gates, a steep staircase, and a kung fu master, but that’s a longer tale unto itself.

Finding true love helped them reconnect with their child selves, and discover a need in the world for more thoughtful and beautiful children’s programming. They called this shared dream world - Holy Pepperoni.

Since 2021 the artist duo, with help of many collaborators and friends, have been creating short films and producing live shows all across Los Angeles — creating magical experiences for children and adults alike.

Their goal is to help build a bridge to imagination, connect with an enchanted world and create pockets of peace together. 

Anj and Hannah Rose believe that peace on Earth is not a fairytale, and that by nurturing our inner worlds and using our imaginations we can create new realities for a safer and more loving world.
